A LITTLE ABOUT MY STORY

I believe my art story started when I started to look at my body as a vessel of my soul’s expression. Then experiences came with awareness of it. What I have noticed is that the “forms of art” started to show up when I was in the darkest moments of my life. Dance and nature, as expressions of beauty and connection, were my solace since the childhood. Later in life I discovered poetry and drawing. Again, it came naturally while I was suffering from separation (separation from my Self). It doesn’t matter in what form or medium my art showed up, it was very clear, that it was my soul speaking and guiding. It became my spiritual practice of belonging. As I followed this inner guidance, even if it didn’t make much sense most of the time, I discovered people, groups, organizations that helped me to bring this all together into the embodiment of body/mind/soul creative expression practice/therapy.
As from my deep personal journey and witnessing others in these practices, I truly believe that through artistic expression we can bring out so many stories we carry within individually and collectively and create space for healing, compassion, communication, relatedness and … for new stories to evolve out of the experience.
